How to Vote Information
In the Senate the easiest way to vote for Drug Law Reform Australia is to place the number 1 in the box next to the Free Cannabis logo. This is called "above the line" voting and is favoured by 90% of Aussie voters because it is easiest and mistake proof.
Note due to changes this election you should also number at least 6 boxes.
Help by putting up posters at you local polling booth
As a new party we do not have the helpers or volunteers to staff all polling booths, so apart from voting, another way to show your support is to help put up "How To Vote" posters around your local polling booth.
On election day 2016, when you go to vote please take as many “Vote 1 Drug Law Reform Australia" posters with you to your local polling booth and attach them to nearby lamp posts, or other prominent areas around the various entrances to the booths.
Just bring sticky tape or Blu-Tack and put up as many as you can to help spread the word to others that may not have heard about Drug Law Reform Australia.
IMPORTANT - Please be mindful of the Australian Electoral Commission rules prohibiting election material within 6 meters of the polling booth but you can print and post as many as want outside of the 6 meter radius.
Our unique Free Cannabis logo will give Drug Law Reform Australia unprecedented recognition when people go to vote on election day.
To help promote our new logo and show your support for cannabis law reform, we are asking all of you to change your Facebook profile photo to the Free Cannabis logo on the 26th June, just 1 week before the election.
This will maximise our chances of successfully reaching out to the many Australians who we know support the free cannabis ideal, but as yet do not know they can turn this ideal into reality by using their vote.
We need to show those people, who for years have been too afraid to come forward in support of cannabis that now is the time to speak out and join the right side of history.
And with your help, Drug Law Reform Australia will end the "War on Drug users".
Thanks to all our supporters.
